<p>I want to atten AIM next summer, but I'm not so sure my grades are well enough to get in. If someone has been through the program, what sort of grades did you make your freshman and sophmore year?</p>
<p>My son just got back from attending the 2011 2nd session of AIM. While my son doesnt have a spectacular GPA ( his is only a 3.40) but keep in mind USCGA accepts students who are also VERY well rounded individuals! He wrote 3 essays and had to send in 2 recommendations from teachers or coaches. It is a combination of grades, physical ability and leadership.</p>
