Hello!

I just received my graduation announcements order that
I plan to start putting together and sending within the next
month... was wondering if I should include college acceptance
and scholarship information? How could one do this? I'd rather
not handwrite it since my handwriting is quite horrid...

Here's what it'd say if I include it..?

"We are pleased to announce that Angel will be
attending the College of Charleston in the fall of
2012 with a Presidential scholarship."

And does anyone know a quick guideline I could use for graduation
announcement etiquette? My mom can't remember... (last time she
did this was 7 years ago!) Thanks. :-D

If this needs to be removed... please do so! Sorry!

Also…

“In the fall of 2012” or “in fall of 2012”?

“This fall” would be pretty straightforward.

That’s true - thank you! :-)

Just end with “the fall.”

Don’t include scholarship information- it just looks braggy IMO.

I’ll second that–including the scholarship is not in the best taste.

Okay, thanks, guys.

But question…
how do I even include college enrollment information then? Cardstock? Write it?

I’ll leave out the scholarship information (after some thought I felt like it was too much as well).

Just write it on the announcement as part of the regular text. I would make it the last line. What you said in your first post was fine. Or, you could go a more fun way and incorporate the college’s crest/logo/whatever as decoration.

“ABC will be attending ZYX College this fall.”

That’s basically what mine. I also included my intended major (ZYX College to study 123) but thats because I knew exactly what I was going in to. Keep it simple.

Thank you guys! I figured it out (:
