can we assume that the order of acceptances is the order of the competitiveness of the respective applicants?

Congratulations to those of you accepted! To those of you still waiting, take heart: Dr. Richmond sends out all of the acceptances in waves and waits until the program is filled before sending rejections. At least as far as I know.

@StudiousMaximus: WOW somebody’s excited, haha. Last year I didn’t start the group until rosters were sent out (note that it’s easier to start the group that way too; you just “reply all” and send them the link).

Yeah, I guess it was a bit premature. But I’ll definitely send them the link when rosters are sent out! Thanks for the tip.

Accepted from PUERTO RICO!!!

@WOCIII when did you hear from them?

lacrossegirl, do you plan on going to HSHSP?

@tehlofflies: Obviously not, since she wasn’t admitted. She’s a ■■■■■.

@studiousmaximus- eh, i wouldn’t be sure
i take her as a more dramatic person, for the lack of a better term

perhaps.
but back to my question- will you be attending? since you got into SSP, Simons…?

I don’t understand why people enjoy feeding trolls so much.

Accepted, but 95% chance I’m turning it down for SSP. I like the group atmosphere of that camp, and the chance to learn about multiple fields. Thanks everyone for listing the differences between the camps.

when did they email you, msav22?

Can you please post your stats/field you applied for/state you are from ?

Did you get accepted today?

I got my email at 2 pm Central Time today.

@msav: I advise you against making the greatest mistake of your high school career by choosing SSP.

Jk, I’m sure you’ll have a great time at either.

(But a better one at HSHSP. Promise. Plus we have amazing bubble tea.)

Oh dang, bubble tea. Not gonna lie, that stuff is fabulous (and you can’t get it in WI).

@msav22 Based on your stats you seem very similar to me…except for the Mathcamp lol

I just got my acceptance today. HSHSP does have some computer science projects right?

ACCEPTED!!! This is the only program I got into, so I guess I’m attending I already posted my stats on the last page for those who want to see.
