mariana... even though i have never lived in the us .... i can tell you that living outside colombia is a pretty cool thing but i am not sure about living in the us since life there can vary a lot...depends where in the us you go. and well year this ways of living life is really different.. but you can get to meet a lot of people and learn a lot... you can come bake with a better english and have lots of friends in other places.... well i recommend you to try it.. you have nothing to loose!!

snoopyiscool...... u say that th US is all that but you are so ignorant..... you think you are the best, but all ur intelligence rage stays in the US..... u have absolutely no idea what goes on around the world..... i hopoe u never travel because i swear the world will eat u alive

well i studied in the US and im colombian and yeah its fun but nothing like our country so to all those american who are critizing have no cluie what they are talking about...you would probably have to know where colombia is even located because im sure you guys are soi egocentric that you only know where NY is located

I have both nationalities. I am half Colombian and half american. Comparing and contrasting both cultures i believe that economicly it is better to be an American, but in building character and personality it is better to be a colombian...not everything is handed to us like little brats. Of course there are exeptions but we are more socialy developed and we dont spend our free time like nerds in a college forum.

On a lighter note, I think it would be a cool change for a little while just to be in new surroundings and meet new people. But the only problem is public schools in the U.S. have way more students than say the private school here and its more independent but im not sure how private school in the states are.

hey SNOOPYISCOOL insted of wasting your time posting useless things in forums why dont you read a litttle to is if maybe, just maybe you can get a little culture.

This thread is both ridiculous and stupid. America is a country. High school is high school. And I'm amazed how only the bigots from both countries managed to post in this thread.

mira tu snoopy boy....don't mess with colombians!!! no j%d@!!! mandas hu%vo!!! que descarao!!! (get a dictionary!!!) we are in computer class and HAVE to right in this web thingy....forum

im half american but what an a**hole saying: this is not good: when we all posted here. well guess what, without us mr.snoopy you would be here all alone because you have NOTHING better to do than post here. At least we have a reason... but you... you seriosuly need a life. go do something productive.

HEY EVERYONE .. i think go to live to another place is a great experience I think mariana you should go and have fun .. do whatever u want .. how ever is just for 6 months .. and the people who really care for u live in colombia .. so...

snoopyiscool, i think you are saying the things about us in a kind of racist way.....

here in Colombia we arte very proud of being colombian, and we dont like to be discrimated............. besides many of us have more future in life than a person that discriminates people just because we are from another country thats considered "poor".....

ther is one thing true... Colombia has not much money, but we are VERY rich in other things, like aour people, we dont like to discrimate others, thats much more that snoopyiscool can say!!!!

Yes I'm colombia bu PROUD COLOMBIA

orgullozamente colombiano!!!

This is not the place to talk about this. This is a college Forum, getting to the point i think that you should go mariana its a great experince and you should always take all oportunities that you get to extend your knowledge

Colombia is not poor... there are so many places that are so much poorer, but honestly... look at your countryy!! at your city!! ive been here for less than a year and i think it is so pretty!! and anyways... most places in the world have parts that arent the richest, big deal... at least colombia is doing something about the poverty (with the estratos and higher classes helping the lower ones)

I lived in the US and I really liked it
