i am a sophomore in the bay area of california. I am looking for internship, or research or any kind of oppurtunities regarding the medical field. I do not care if i'm paid or not, i just want to do some sort of research or internship or anything. However, i want it to be in califronia and most preferrably in the bay area.

anyone got any suggestions?
please help!!!

wow! wat a forum....3 days and no one replies...wow

Perhaps nobody else has a response. Maybe you should do the research on your own, and then share the results with the rest of us.

come on...i know someone's gotta know something...

This won't be much help mainly because I'm in Michigan, but my son was also looking for something medical as a HS sophomore. Any internships he investigated were usually given to college students. He was able to do volunteer work at local hospitals and spent quite a lot of time at Gilda's Club one summer. Have you tried googling? Contacting hospitals and other medical facilities? Our local newspaper has a long list of volunteer opportunities. My son also attended a state-sponsored (and now discontinued) summer program that was medicine/science related at an area college - we had to pay a fee for that, though. Good luck -
