<p>What is the best way to get an internship for a business in high school? For most companies I know, they only take college students, so it's been hard finding a company that'll take a high school student</p>

<p>I recommend enjoying your time in high school while you can. You have the rest of your life to work :-P</p>

<p>Opportunities are really limited for high school students unless you have connections. Try personally emailing human relations at particular companies and firms to see if they have any "unofficial" internship/work that you can do for them.</p>
<p>I don't think a high school internship will help you retire that much earlier...but, to each his own, I suppose.</p>
<p>I think it'll provide early hands on experience, so later on the intern will succeed in a business because he/she already knows what to do. It's still a valuable experience</p>
