Hello. As stated in the title, I am a high school junior and have recently been increasingly worried about college admissions. I have straight A's except for one B+ in AP World History in 10th grade. I have taken 4 AP's so far and I am taking 4 more as a senior. I am involved in a number of activities including yearbook, of which I am managing editor. I do lots of extracirriclar arts, like photography, music, and composition. My career goals are in the area of international relations;thus I am applying to the Georgetown school of foreign service come fall. I have taken the SAT only once, without studying and being generally unprepared and got a 1860. I know this score gives me no chances but I am taking two more times and think I can manage to at least break the 2100 mark. I am applying to other schools like UVA, Berkeley, Stanford, U of M, etc. but Georgetown really is my first choice. Do I have a shot at going there? Is there anything more I should be doing extracirricular wise? Can I improve my SAT by any significant amount? Should look at other schools? Please help!
