High School Junior - UC Berkeley

I am about to go into my junior year and I was wondering what I could to do improve my chances if I want to go to Berkeley.

Freshmen Year:
3.9 Weighted GPA, 3.7 unweighted.

Sophomore Year:
4.4 Weighted, 4.0 unweighted.

Rank: 26 of 866

EC's:
Technical Theatre (Julius Caesar, A Doll's House, Various Student written plays.) (Lighting design/operation, music design, prop manager, stage crew, stage crew manager)
Careers and Community Club. (Community Service club)
Science Olympiad
Link Crew

Other:
Two years ahead of my grade in math.
Volunteer at Elementary school tutoring kids at risk for retention/those with suspected developmental disorders such as autism.
Volunteer at Aquarium of the Pacific.
In my spare time I scuba dive, backpack, snowboard, and play the piano and guitar. My family also travels a lot. I've been to Australia, Belgium, Paris, the Cayman Islands, and next year I am going to all of the countries along the Mediterranean (Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, etc).
I took the PSAT and got 200 without an ounce of studying, so I'm sure I can raise that as well as recieve a decent score on the SAT.

Plans for Junior Year:
AP English
AP U.S. History
AP Environmental
Honors Chem.
Calculus
Spanish Three

Planned EC's
Link Crew
NHS
CSF
S.O
Red Cross

I don't know if this will affect my chances, especially with the end of affirmative action, but I am a white female living in So. Cal. Not the Beverly Hills/O.C. CA. but the racially diverse, let's all get along, part.

Your help would be much appreciated!! :D

No you’re not at the end of the AA stick, that belongs to the Asian Males going into science and engineering (me)

Berkeley cares little about your freshman grades, keep it at a 4.0 unweighted and 4.5+ weighted and your chances would be solid at any UCs. (If you can get ELC which is top 4% of your school, along with 2200+, that’ll secure Berkeley)

i would aim for 2200+ especially if your going into engineering at Berkeley, but if you go Letters and Sciences, its not that competitive and a 2100+ would just do fine.

ECs looks fine, though UCs are more stats oriented.

There’s a good that I’ll be able to get ELC, especially since a lot of the people who have ranks ahead of mine aren’t taking as many honors/ap as me for junior year.

Are you at Berkeley now, or are you planning on going to Berkeley at all?
What do you think are my chances of getting Regents? I’m not spectacular, especially compared to other potential Berkeley applicants, but I can dream. :p

Thanks for all of the help! :)

I’m definitely applying, the reason i know a lot about Berkeley is that pretty much all my senior friends are going there. (our school gets like ~60-70 people admitted into Berkeley each year out of a class of 550, probably around 20-30 people ultimately goes there)

Ok so Berkeley Regents does seem to have a SAT cutoff, thats 2250. And its mostly stats based, keep the GPA tops, and aim for 2300 if you want guaranteed Regents.
