High School Life

School hasn't started for me but I'm pretty sure it going to be just like i expect dull from the start and gets interesting when it ends.

we don't have honors classes period LOL
but we have like a billion different AP classes

Hmm...my school is small and everyone knows who everyone is (but that doesn't mean they actually know each other). People say that we're kind of like a family sometimes, and I suppose that's true in a sense. Teachers know the students and they don't hate each other, and grades are friendly with each other. There's three groups of people: the ones that don't really care about their education or the school or anything (they're the most influential, I think, and most popular), the people who do care but at the same time pretend not to, and the people who really care and try their hardest. There's plenty of honors and AP classes and smart kids, sometimes so frighteningly smart that I wonder why they haven't gone to a better school yet.

My school is also a Catholic school, yet the religion classes (or Theology, as they've now been called) are the most hated by the students because they really do count for GPA, but most people don't like to count them as actual classes, which is where they fall into trouble. We're not too religious. Depending on the teacher, a religion class can be awesome or really, really boring. I've had both types.

Sports are very important. Other organizations-er-aren't....I like the school in general, except for that last part and the part about people not caring.

Cherie136, that's EXACTLY what's happened to our school... there's so many kids that you can never get through the hallways, and if you do, you're most certainly to be slammed around a bit b/c there's so many people!! it drives me nuts! its like a health hazard going(not to mention a fire hazard.)
