oh chad.
its ok noctua i thot the same as u.
i didnt go to prom bc i had my french AP 2 days later. not that i did well on that or anything.
but i went to my school's finearts banquet which i consider as my prom, since i didnt go to my real prom.
and i went to my friends "graduation" party.
i think those two dances made up for my not going to prom.
blahblahblah im just rambling here.

i didn't go...last year i chose that weekend to visit some colleges, and this year i went shopping.

i'm sure i had more fun doing those things than i would have at prom.

also, my school still really has a promenade, requiring everyone to walk across stage with his/her escort and let the whole school district ooh and ahh and take pictures.

Haha I went to my prom with a date that was out of my league. Got pictures at her house and my house. Did the stretch Hummer thing with all my closest cohorts and their dates. Went to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant in the city. Came fashionably late to the ballroom in Columbus and left as soon as the king and queen were crowned. Stayed like 10 minutes at afterprom in the high school. Then got wasted, played pong, and relaxed by the bonfire with my good friends. Crashed at my friend's house and came home at 3 the next day. All in all a good prom experience, though the first 6 or 7 hours were pretentious and boring.

Was one of only a couple people I know who didn't go. Our school separates Senior ball and Junior prom. I don't have a boyfriend or any guy friends of relevance, mostly because the guys at my school are a virtual promenade of douches. I'll use my dress some other time...I hear Chicago has a fall formal! And Katharos...I want to go dancing with you when I get to Chicago!

We'll have to meet up sometime in the fall and go dancing. There are tons of different dance styles taught here for virtually nothing ($2/class with a UCID). I only have dabbled in swing and lindy (and occasional classes with the University Ballet), though I know the University offers ballroom, salsa, waltz, and others.

Yay, I'm a terrible klutz but I enjoy dancing. I'm attempting to gain a sense of rhythm (The fact that my mom is a belly-dancing instructor and (middle-eastern style) performer makes me feel very inferior to have not inherited her skills).

Didn't go because I'm a junior. Next year!

Also, BF dislikes school dances because most people blindly grind on each other and hardly anyone has any form or skill.

I like to bellydance. =) If (hopefully) at U of C next year, would definitely be interested in taking some of those dance classes. For now... more SATs and finals. =(

i'm excited about my prom. it's this friday, and me and 28 people are going on a trolley. and we're crashing at a friend's beachhouse. it's going to be great. the prom theme is kind of dumb and sexually suggestive though, "tonight's the night"

I went to prom. IT was fantastic! And we have this thing, Grad Dinner Dance, that's for students, teachers and parents. It was good too but prom was better with an all-seniors after-prom party at nice club!
