Ever had a bad teacher, well my US. History teacher is one. She is a sorry excuse for a teacher. I hate the fact there are good and bad teachers for the same subject. Why is it that one teacher works differently as opposed to another? I hate group projects and assigned group partners& that one student who doesn't do any of the work. I could pretty much self-study U.S history, she does not need to assign projects and what not. Does your guidance counselor allow you to switch teachers? Well mine does not, even though our school policy is students are first. What a load of bull . High school isn't really about learning at all. The only thing I would wanna learn is the subject I'm majoring. High school is about excelling. My life is based off a numerical average for four years. Done ranting, feel free to comment or post a rant of your own.

My honors physiology teacher for the health academy at my school isn’t the best teacher. She is kind of older so she’s really absent-minded and she’ll forget she assigned an assignment to us. Also she might give us a packet and we have to self study from our books just to answer the questions.

I remember having an English teacher that gave long assignments and strictly graded in comparison to the other English teachers at my high school. I complained at first, but after realizing that I was wasting my time, I put in more effort and began to enjoy the class. In the end, I managed to get an A and my writing skills significantly improved.

Moral of the story? Relax, study more, and things should mellow out in the end.

i hate when i get every bad teacher for every subject and get B+/A- and kids that aren’t as smart as me get ez pz teachers for the same subjects and get high A’s

Look… Be glad your AP Lang teacher doesn’t deduct 5 points for every contraction you use, or every time you use “you.” I had 5 contractions, as I’d totally forgotten about this, and my score was already somewhat low, though pretty high for him, as you can tell, he’s a harsh grader. But he’s actually a pretty good teacher and as you’d never guess from his grading policy, very laid back. However, Spanish 1 teacher, who was fired, was possibly the worst teacher ever. I don’t mean she was just bad at teaching… I mean she was 15-30 minutes late to class multiple times every month. I was the only freshman, and the shortesr guy in my class, so I was the one chosen to jump through the window of the trailer (she left them unlocked), and open the door, if it was cold or raining. In addition to this, her English was awful, and we spent a lot of time on Vosotros, which we weren’t supposed to learn, according to other Spanish teachers. I busted my butt for that 90… But I’m sure we ALLLLLLLL have some experience with awful teachers haha(:

“High school isn’t really about learning at all.” -amen brother.
It is just crammign info in your head, spittign it out for that test, recramming for finals, and regurgitating again. You think igaf about calculus? No. After the class is over I will purposefulyl try to forget it because it helps out 0% in real life unless you have a job using it.

I had an English teacher my freshman year who absolutely hated my writing. I highest I got on any paper was a B (that happened once, and it was JUST a B), but the majority of the time I got C’s and D’s. Why? My grammar was flawless, I was part of a writing club, everyone there loved my writing. I have no idea what her problem was! It was totally unfair and because of her unfair grading I only got a B in the class! I was struggling and frustrated all the time. Because of HER, I decided that I wasn’t going to college because I was going to be an English major and obviously my writing sucked (I have completely changed my mind about that now, thankfully. I have decided to go to college and be an English major anyway, because she was the one and only English teacher I ever had that absolutely hated my writing. All the rest of my English teachers loved it.)

Oddly enough, the last paper I wrote in her class was given a D. The first paper I wrote the following year (with another teacher this time) earned me an 100%. How’s that for irony?

Oh, and if all that’s not bad enough, it was because of her that I didn’t sign up for AP Lit. this year. Of all the people teaching it, it just had to be her. I mean, it’s bad enough that I have very little AP classes under my belt anyway. Grammar would have been one of the only AP classes at my school that I would have actually been good at. (Of course, I wouldn’t have with her teaching it because she would have graded all my papers horribly.) So yeah, thanks a lot for SABOTAGING MY TRANSCRIPT. Irritated irritated irritated

@UFOninja lol, perhaps she disliked your writing because it was so much better than hers.

school sucks…really

Last year I had a math teacher who absolutely loathed me. The reason was unknown but I ended up getting a B in her class because of it. She refused to help me after school so I had to get help from another teacher. This made her hate me even more because the two teachers hated eachother.
