<p>Im a rising senior whos done research but nothing as big as some of these kids that have published amazing things involving molecular biology. How did you guys do it? Did you start young? Did you have access to great mentors? Publishing in high school seems like an impossibility (as no one takes you seriously).</p>
<p>At least the way someone I know did it is that the professor he contacted was publishing a paper and used him to get some of the results. So he didn’t publish on his own, but because his work shows up as the chief parts of the paper, he is considered a co-publisher.</p>
