Do you guys agree with this? I've read on other threads that colleges usually discourage resumes. Also, this link says to include elementary and middle school achievements. But colleges usually only look at high school records. Maybe it means that you don't put these on the app, but include them in the resume. what do you guys think?

I can totally understand korean thank you thank you, very insightful

Oh lol, though yeah, I am personally against attaching a resume because I feel it's excessive, so I didn't do it and nobody in my school did and we all did well enough, though some people feel that enough can't be said in the small amount of space for their ec descriptions, but hmmm. Though if you really feel compelled to do a resume, I would advise against anything done in elementary and middle school unless it's an activity you have been doing since then up to the present, so...

I would definately advise against including middle and elementary school activities, unless it's piano lessons or something ("piano lessons since 2nd grade")

I am submitting a more detailed list, not because I have more activities than will fit on the sheet, but because I have a tremendous amount of time counsumed and abstract leadership in areas that aren't easily explainable. I don't want them to be misunderstood or underestimated.

My guidance counselor suggests that only those people with tremendous dedication to certain areas that require explanation send them.

It might be helpful to post something in English...just a suggestion.

Asia vs America....
