High school schedule conflicts! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I’m going into my sophomore year in high school right now, and recently received a call from my counselor telling me that I have a schedule conflict.
Here were the original courses I selected (Note: my school only offers one AP class to sophomores which is World History):
H English 10
H Algebra 2
H Chem 10
AP World History
Jazz 1
Spanish II
and of course P.E.

My counselor told me that Spanish 2 conflicted with three of my core academic classes, Honors algebra 2, honors chem 10,
and AP world history. This means that I am forced to drop one of those three honors/ap classes and take an on-level class instead. Right now, I am thinking of dropping honors algebra 2. I just enjoy science and history sooo much more. My question is, I really want to major in some field of biology when I go to college (I know its early to start thinking about those kinds of things) and obviously math is important for any STEM major (its really important in general) So will this decision to take on level algebra 2 instead of honors significantly hurt my chances of getting into any college? Will taking on level algebra 2 lessen my chance of getting into a good college? Will colleges care that much?

If you are serious about majoring in some sort of biology focus on courses that relate to that. If that is your focus definitely do not drop honors chem or honors algebra 2 as they both relate to your intended major. That being said, I would strongly recommend you drop AP World History. Though its a shame you would drop an AP course in a subject you enjoy, taking higher level courses in subjects that relate to what you want to major in will be more attractive to good colleges. I know you probably don’t want to drop an ap course, but there will be more ap courses in math science, and english that correspond to what you want to major in.

Appreciate the help!
