arent my grades too low for cornell? thank you for your help =)

I don't see anything about art in your list of ECs and classes. Do you have a portfolio? If not, then you need to look at schools that don't require one as part of their admissions process. What area of the country, size of school?

yea.. your right i don't have any extracurriulars that has to do with art. i am one of those who aspires to be an architect but is a little weak on the art area. however, i do have a portfolio but my pictures are not museum status. i have a lot of photography and some free hands as well as some paintings. hopefully i am not too weak in the area

you gave a reply on my thread, so i thought i'd help you out here! :)

your stats are pretty much like mine. they landed in the mid 550-range. you have pretty decent EC's, so a more selective college seems right. Auburn University has a really strong arch program and Design Intelligence gave it many good remarks. i don't think they require a portfolio. in a way, its reputation is kinda like the syracuse of the south.

i was thinking about applying to auburn, but i was deterred when i found out how the student body was. you should try to look into some cali schools if you don't wanna submit a portfolio. tulane didn't require me to send in a portfolio. we're also similar in a way that we're not really into art, but i'm sure if prompted we could come up with something spectacular given time and effort.

not to mention, we're both Asian!
