RIT and WPI with some merit will both come close.
UNH has auto merit that will be at or below budget. Great engineering program that flys under the radar.

I actually like the list presented. He’s only a sophomore. Taking some nice Aps as a sophomore. Keep doing that junior /senior year. Great GPA.
Michigan state honors will match their instate tuition plus mentorship /research, $5,000 study abroad etc etc and they have great outcomes. It flies under the radar.

Does anyone know out of UMD, NC State, Penn State, Ohio State, U of Florida which one is relatively easier to get into for Engineering?
Penn State and Ohio State.

Ohio and Penn OOS with Ohio offering the most merit from what I have seen.
