Do transfer students need to submit high school transcripts along with community college transcripts?

^

yes, you need to submit the high school transcripts too. just go to your high school and order a couple of your transcripts…

and do everything in the transfer conditions.

It won’t have any bearing on transferring though right? My high school grades weren’t exactly the best haha

It’s not used at all to determine your GPA, they just want proof that you actually showed up.

From my understanding, if you completed your IGETC you don’t need to send HS transcripts…

" Exception: UCSB does not require high school transcripts from transfer students who send an official IGETC certification to UCSB. UCSB will continue to request your high school transcript until an official IGETC certification is received by the Office of Admissions."

Not sure if other schools apply. Check their requirements.

holy ****. i did not send hs transcripts when i applied. i know, incredibly stupid, but i hadn’t even planned on applying for transfer last yr and so did a rushed application and i guess i didn’t cover my bases. i will finish my igetc, but won’t have igetc certification until the end of this spring… i’ll check up on each of my schools.

@ dystaxia

High school transcripts are sent after you’ve been accepted and have decided to enroll (if they ask for them at least).
