Your SAT and GPA are in the ball park (what is your Critical Reading and Math Score? Cornell doesnt use Writing), and your SAT 2s are above 700. You have a good shot at Cornell, but keep in mind that it may be a (low) reach due to its low acceptance rate and many other applicants applying who have stupid high stats. Hey, I was actually accepted into Cornell! I am attending a different school, however. You’re stats look on par with their requirements, however Cornell puts high emphasis on making sure that you are applying to their school because you want to go and not because it is an Ivy. In my essays I talked about specific programs at Cornell that I was attracted to and related them to my personal experiences so just make sure that when you apply you are able to relay exactly what about Cornell attracts you, assuming that it is your first choice.
