I have SAT I's and AP's to prepare for so I won't get to studying for US until after the AP's (May 11th) for me.

I'm also taking the AP exam. I have Amsco's and a decent set of notes (minus the progressive era cuz i didn't pay attention).

What books are recommended specifically for the SAT II?
I'm looking for books that are most realistic to the actual test with very similar material and test questions. I don't have the time to overprepare particularly cuz US history is a dense subject.

Thanks y'all in advance for your input.

[Amazon.com: AP U.S. History Crash Course (REA): Larry Krieger: Books](http://www.amazon.com/U-S-History-Crash-Course-REA/dp/0738605603)

with AMSCO. That’s all I’m doing (With class stuff). That is what people on this forum will recommend.

advice: SAT asks really random and useless stuff. you should read the chapters on indians/before colonial america from your textbook (which im sure you haven’t read yet) because there will be stupid questions on that. and get familiar with names… random names will show up.

the progressives are actually really important
you should read up on them
