if..
my grades are perfect (all A+'s),
hardest courseload (about 6 aps at my school.. which is not that competitive)
rank 1/550
very high sat/act score
800 scores in sat 2
4 or 5s on ap exams
blah blah... just assume they are all bascially perfect

but..
my ec are pretty weak.... and decent at best
like having many memberships but no leadership roles
no national/state/regional achievements
maybe 200ish hours volunteer
and just overall quite active in and out of school... but nothing really substancial that stands out... (pres/vice/secretary etc)

do i hav a chance at the ives? or how about at ivy comparables?
and my chances with early decision?

well, since you are "basically perfect," i wonder why the ECs are somewhat lacking...
your scores would give you a chance at ivies or ivy-comparables, but your ECs don't seem to say anything special. Of course, it could depend on where you put in your 200 hours, and which clubs you are a member of.
Perhaps you could do something interesting over the summer? You didn't really mention any activites that you will be doing to improve your EC record.
I'm sure you already know this, but interning would help--even getting a part-time job would help. I'm sure you could think of some great ideas.

"Lower ivies" is bull. Perfect numbers keep you out of the 'no' pile. But if you don't have anything else, you're not going to be interesting enough to admit. Odds are you have a passion and you have ECs. They might be out of school, you might paint/take photos, etc. What do you love to do? And no, studying does not count. You'll find that you do have stuff to put in your app.
