<p>For anyone that’s subscribed to this thread I thought it would be helpful for me to come back and let everyone know what happened. I got all As and 1 B senior year and picked up several impressive awards. I want kids to know they can always turn their situation around and I want some of the posters to be less pessimistic in the future haha. I was accepted to Penn State, Pitt, Franklin and Marshall, Umiami, Muhlenberg (merit aid), American (merit aid), and Brandeis ( I didn’t apply to some schools mentioned like Colgate, USC). I also wanted to point out that my situation is not summed up on this board because I did have some really impressive ECs, heartfelt LORs (one from an internationally known businessman and philanthropist) because of my hard work and passion in school and in extracurriculars, and good essays. Thanks everyone for the advice and good luck to those in similar positions!</p>
