@StagNation, you are getting great results!! A lot to be proud of. And major props to your mom for having the wisdom and foresight to counsel you to create a list that didn’t rely on $$ from your Dad to make it happen. And major props to you for listening and going forward with that plan. If your Dad does come through with some $$, sweet, you will have a cushion. But if not, you will still get a fabulous education. You have shown great maturity here and I expect you will be very successful where ever you land.
I wouldn’t close that door just yet. CWRU is probably the most highly regarded school on your list, and they are known to be generous with financial aid.
Also, I did not see what you plan to study but CWRU is extremely strong in STEM – especially for anything related to medicine and biotech. Its other offerings are excellent too. Kind of nerdy, though, and the professors work you hard. It’s located in one of the better parts of Cleveland.
In sum, if the price is right you should at least visit Case to see if you like it.
Well, the search is over. After getting full tuition and fees at Tulane, I will be enrolling there!
