High Weighted GPA, But Kinda Low Unweighted GPA?

I was wondering what my chances were at schools like Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, ECU, and App State:
Unweighted GPA: 3.71
Weighted GPA: 5.1
I’m planning on applying to Duke Early Decision, and the other schools Early Action, so I can have a higher chance of getting in. In my school, academic classes are 4, honors are 5, and AP’s are 6. Therefore, it’s really hard to have a GPA above 5, and this puts me in the top 10%. I know I have a kinda low unweighted GPA, but I’ve taken 12 AP courses my Sophmore and Junior years, so I’m hoping this will help out the fact that my unweighted GPA is low. Do I have any chance at Duke ED? Or any of the other schools EA?

You calculate weighted GPA by giving both AP and Honors 5 points for college. AP’s do not receive 6.

At my school, AP’s receive 6 points though

I think colleges will recalculate it. Either way impossible to chance you without knowing your test scores and how your ECs are.

@AmberLee Weighted GPA does not matter. They look at unweighted GPA + what courses you took.
