High yield this year

"This year’s yield rate — 70.8 percent — is also among Stanford’s highest... As a result of the high matriculation rate, only 20 transfer students were accepted."

Everybody loves Stanford!!! :) I just hope this doesn't mean classes are going to be crowded.

Wow, that's pretty awesome. Catchin' up to Harvard fast. =)

Darn. I thought it was 70.8% accepted. LOL!

Is it possible that there will be enough "melt" to have them go to the waitlist?

No, the class is already about 100 people over the limit because so many people are choosing to matriculate.

Yeah thanks a$$clowns*. I am one of those 'transfer' applicants who was placed on a "short" waitlist, instead of simply admitted, due to the 1.35% acceptance rate. I would be IN if some of you had just chose Harvard instead....

*I'm really just having a bit of fun. No ill-will, congrats to all who were successful in their endeavors. Hopefully I will see you on campus (where I can punch you in the face for making me sweat so much...) ;)

I'm sorry you didn't get immediately admitted, Bait&Switch. Best of luck to you!
