Highest ACT Scores?

Does the USMA Admissions officers only look at your highest single scores for the events?

e.g.

1st Test

Composite: 27
E:28
M:25
R:31
S:25

2nd Test

Composite: 28
E:31
M:28
R:26
S:28

Obviously the composite is higher in the second test; However, the second test doesn't adequately show the HIGHEST of all scores.

Highest of All Scores

Composite: 30 (rounded from 29.5)
E:31
M:28
R:31
S:28

As you can see, the highest of all scores would look better in calculating a true composite.

How does the USMA adcoms work it?

I may be wrong, but I don’t believe USMA takes note of the composite score. On son’s candidate portal, it only shows the highest sub-scores he ever received from any of the ACT’s he took. There isn’t a section where the composite is posted.

they dont look at composites. they will take the highest subscores for each section from however many test dates it took
