Highest Scores: ... really?

Does Princeton REALLY only care about higher SAT section scores? My situation... I took the SAT I in June, I think, and got a 2280 (800 W, 790 M, 690 V) and I really needed to boost my verbal scores, so I studied and took the SAT I again in October and got a 2220 (740 W, 720 M, 760 V), but my verbal scores jumped 70 points. Will they care about that, or just "take" the 2350? On the application, I had to put the 690 Verbal, but I send scores to Princeton, which means they'll see the whole kitten caboodle. What a great phrase...

Thanks for any clarifications.

I cant believe you are still sweating about suck good scores, I wish mine could be as good as yours.

well, I'm in a similar things happen to me:

1st time: 580 CR, 760 M, 710 W

2nd time: 680 CR (yay!), 700 M, 640 W

"suck good scores"

Freudian slip?

well how about i actually answer the OP's question. No, you dont need to worry, although they will "see" both sets of scores they will only "look" at the "2350" What that all means is what it says on their site, they will take the highest scores on each section from different tests and combine it into one test. So, dont fret and good job those are great scores.
