Highly recommended prep book

I just bought this book on a whim. I am astounded! This book goes waaaay into depth on every ACT subject. I recommend you check this out, as it beats many other prep books.

Were the 6 practice tests similar to the real ACT test in your opinion

they were harder than the real thing, just like Barrons. I needed a challenge because the normal test prep books do not emulate the real test well.

I’ll look into that, thank you.

In my opinion taking testes harder that the real thing are a waste of time. Stick with the real official tests and you will improve your score better than practicing with tests that are not like the real thing. Most Barron’s prep books full of irrelevant material. To do well on the ACT you need to go fast enough to finish the test, but slow enough to avoid errors. This time management skill can only be developed on real official tests.

i kinda feel the same way northern but im running through all my practice material and i need more.

Is the online course associated with ACT.org worth the money?

I think the redbook is basically the same as the online

The official online course from the ACT test makers has two full tests and some additional questions which are different than the tests in the Red Book. The online course is worth it just for the real questions.

Okay thanks!
