<p>The SAT Big Blue Book is an extremely powerful tool, however its missing an essential component: explanations. Thats why I highly recommend to everyone the Testmasters Explanation Book. It has very deep explanations AND you wont have to flip the page to see the actual question because it is two different books (by this I mean the CB Book and the Testmaster book... you can have them both open). <p>I heard that the math explanations are always the strait-forward math classroom way of doing the problems, which take a long time to do for every problem and ultimately lead to not finishing the section. Is it true that the book does not offer any shortcuts or alternative methods?</p>

<p>Well the math section kind of has to be like that; however, the writing/reading section explanations are very indepth and they give a straightforward explanation... not something stupid that doesnt make any sense. It tells you how exactly to approach the question.</p>

<p>Dont get the CB Online Course. Testmasters provides free human essay grading service... CB does it by automated computer and not as accurate. Also you can input answers in Testmasters website and they give personalized score report. The 3 extra tests arent really needed, 8 tests are enough and 3 more wont raise your score even a bit.</p>
<p>Yea, but I already wasted nearly all of the 8 tests in the Blue Book. I don't have any complete tests left, only a few sections for a few tests. So I think I need the CB Online Course tests.</p>
