Does anyone have any ideas on learning French as a junior/grade 11? I have no space in my schedule to take the class but I want more foreign language experience, I have no French experience and no idea where to get it besides from school. Many colleges I am looking at recommend 4 years, I have 2 years of Spanish. I am worried I took too many science classes (which I love) and that they may overshadow my application to prestigious schools.
Yes, most competitive schools want to see 4 years of a foreign language. Stick with Spanish.
Do not add extra science courses at the expense of your core courses. Selective schools will want to see 4 years of english, 4 years of history, 4 years of FL (in addition to 4 yrs of math and science).
