Highschool/college credit in 8th grade

<p>Initially I posted this in the homeschool forum, but then I thought that traditional students might also have this issue.</p>

<p>I completed 18 hours of dual credit when I was in 8th grade. I also took some classes out of order (example Govt II, then Govt I). </p>

<p>How should my transcript reflect this? Should I put the courses under 9th grade? </p>

<p>Also, my semesters are not clearly defined. For example, I did not study academic subjects for a couple weeks while preparing for a national music competition. Do I need to explain this?</p>

<p>I'm a senior preparing college applications and would really appreciate any advice!</p>

<p>Ask at your own high school about how they will reflect this (if at all) in your transcript. You don’t even need to list these classes there if you don’t feel like it. Just submit the official transcript of the college/university where you took those classes.</p>

<p>Many college courses can be taken out of order. So don’t worry about your transcripts showing that Govt II was taken before Govt I.</p>
