<p>Really, probably my all time favorite thread on CC. It's about a year old.</p>

<p>I am not sure how to link it, can someone help? It is called "Banana Split vs. Smores" . Should be a permanent sticky (no pun intended) for all those deciding on which school to attend.

<p>What makes the thread even funnier is the mix of people who just jump right in and add to the “desserts” and the people who are completely mystified by the whole thing. I’m an English teacher, and I’ve come to the conclusion over the years that there are some people–very intelligent, well educated, successful, etc.–who just don’t get metaphors and never will. There’s a synapse that just fires differently in some of our brains, I think!</p>
