<p>I'm in the closing year of sophmore year of high school and am interested in Hillsdale. I have a job as a busboy at a local restaurant, a varsity debater, and am a member of DECA. My grades aren't great, around a 3.1. I did okay on my PSAT, about 150. I've always been smart, just never applied myself as much as i should. I am a strong conservative and Christian. I will say I go to one of the most competitive high schools in Indiana. I golf in my freetime. I am interested in attending, but fear I lack the grades. I may join a coub or two more during my time at high school. I feel I would fit in well but am told they are selective. I am particularly interested in business, finance and possibly poli sci. What are the odds of my acceptance? </p>
<p>Last year, accepted Hillsdale students had an average SAT of 1980 and average unweighted GPA of 3.81, and these numbers will have likely risen this year. With your stats, I would say Hillsdale is definitely a high reach. Work on getting your GPA and SAT scores up and begin looking at a variety of match/safety colleges.</p>
