Hiring a College Consultant?

<p>So I've been looking at hiring a college consultant to help me with applying to elite colleges. There is a group that I am looking at, <a href="http://www.asianadvantage.net/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.asianadvantage.net/&lt;/a> that seems pretty legit. Is it worth it? </p>

<p>One of the reasons I am considering this is because my counselor just quit so my new counselor does not know me well. I heard a lot of our English teachers also were fired so we are getting a new batch of English teachers that I don't know if I trust or not. Help? </p>

<p>Get a personal reca from people you know who have used counselors. There are great o es and awful ones.</p>

<p>I only know of one person who has a college consultant and I am not a big fan of her personally. </p>

<p>I do not know of anyone who has used asian advantage.</p>
