<p>Hey guys! I would like to know your opinion about my chances to get into the schools I am applying, especially Harvard and Rice/Baylor BS/MD. Here are my stats:
-Hispanic, came from Venezuela about 5yrs ago (current green card holder)
-by the end of sr year I will have about 86 college credits. Some of my classes: Bio I and II, Chem I and II, Pre-Cal, Cal I, Cal II, Cal III, Linear algebra or Org. Chem (i havnt decided which), English (4 semesters), Psychology I, Calculus-based physics I and II, Poli Sci, us history.
-GPA 4.0--School doesnt rank
-SAT: 480(CR), 670(M), 670(W)--Considering I moved to the US 5 yrs ago
-SAT II: 750 Bio, 730 Math level 2, 770 Spanish, 650 Chem
-ACT: 26, 27
-Ive done research at a genetics lab at UNT for over a year. Project related to ischemia and survival of C. elegans to anoxia
-Nat'l Honor Society
-Treasurer and Secretary of TAMS Medical Society. One major event were planning is a concert/talent show at UNT in April 2010, to raise money and donate it to AVERT AIDS (a charity organization)
-Worship leader of Bible study club (Ignite)
-TAMS and UNT tutor
-Parkland Hospital volunteer
-member of community service club (HOPE)
-other ec's and community service
-Over 100hrs of community service
-Letters of recommendation from counselor, dean of the academy, English teacher</p>
