Hispanic female: chances??

<p>alright...sorry about this being another one of those "chances" threads...i really appreciate you taking a look at my info. and letting me know where i stand!
I am:
Hispanic female (National Hispanic Scholar) living in the South...i am planning on applying to UT Austin, Rice, Yale, Harvard, Brown, Northwestern, Tufts, and Macalaster...</p>

<p>G.P.A.: 6.500/6.500
ranked #1 in my class out of 493..so valedictorian
SAT: Total: 2100 (V719 M720 W670)
i have only taken SATII Math I (720) but i plan on taking spanish and math II </p>

<p>i am taking as many AP's as possible this year...a total of 8 for high school</p>

--National Honor Society 50 hrs community service (minimum)
--Amigos de las Americas (I went to Nicaragua this summer for 8 weeks as a volunteer....i lived in a very rural farming community by myself (and my partner) with a host family while i taught classes to children at the school about health and the environment, worked with the nurse at the health center and gave discussions to women there, and did a community-based initiative of building benches and a fence where they were needed)
--Spanish Study Abroad (2 summers ago for a month)
--Duke TIP Program: University of Kansas (3 summers ago...i took a class in medicine)
--Tri-M Society 10-12(music honor society)--Secretary

<p>i have worked as a lifeguard one summer and as a hostess/computer manager another summer</p>

<p>i have good essays (i think) and hopefully good teacher recs. (a very good one from my tennis coach)</p>

<p>thanks. yea, i definitely hope i get it to some (if any) and i don't have an idea how much of a chance i have for harvard/yale...everyone who applies is pretty amazing</p>

<p>scores are pretty low for HYP but you have really good shots for everywhere else.</p>

<p>those schools are just unpredictable. they sometimes choose like the most random poeople ever.</p>

<p>I think your chances at Harvard and Yale are about 50-60%, and you're in everywhere else.</p>

<p>i truthfully think any urm with over 600 sat's stands a chance... especially if you have MORE hooks</p>
