I know I posted before but that got no responses :(

So I figured I'd sorta re post :P

I have currently a 3.54 (but I may be able to raise it anywhere from a 3.61-3.71 by the end of the semester) and 63 units after this semester. currently at moorpark (so the 3.54 is all from a 4 year university, not moorpark)

I was wondering if I write great, convincing essays, if you think my chances are maybe borderline?
I realize that it's challenging to get into Berkeley and LA, but I have always wanted to apply and wasn't quite strong enough from high school (and was out of state anyways, so that wasn't happening.)

Thanks :D

you’re good. it’s not a competitive major so even 3.54 will be able to get you in.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?
haha

i’m shocked at that!

75% in 23% rejected 2% spring admit

thankks
wait, what do you mean by spring admit? Do they defer some applicants?

CORRECTION! I’ve been miscalculating my gpa-it’s actually a 3.639 not a 3.54. so i guess that’s a better chance i hope?? (altho it might go down a little after this sem to like a 3.6)

dude ur fine… just curious tho… what r u planning to do with a hispanic languages major?

I have NO idea actually :-
whereas people are really planning for the future, I’m sort of just riding along. I just want to get a degree in something, b/c even the head of transfer admissions at ucla said for the most part what you major in is irrelevant to what you’ll do with your life.

I might teach english overseas, and I know this sounds dumb, but I might want to sing too…but I want to back myself up if I take that route, you know?
