Oh, and chance for Stanford too, please. :)

You have great chances everywhere. The Yale legacy makes admittance there likely.

Its great that you have legacy there, you seem to be a solid candidate.

Should I try to bring up my SAT scores, or should I leave well enough alone? How bad does it look to take the SAT a third time? Also, should I send in both my ACT and SAT scores?

Bump bump bump

As long as you did well on the SAT2’s you’re in good shape for all of those schools.

I haven’t taken the SAT IIs, but I anticipate a 770-800 on the French and Spanish SAT IIs. Which other ones should I take? Is it too…unvaried (?) :stuck_out_tongue: to take only these subject tests? Also, I reiterate my previous question: Should I try to bring up my SAT scores, or should I leave well enough alone? How bad does it look to take the SAT a third time? Also, should I send in both my ACT and SAT scores?

Right now with only a few SAT dates left I think it’s best you work on the SAT2’s because you may want to retake them. Your scores are very high, once you get past 2250 it’s only a matter of a few questions- you don’t need perfect scores. You can try taking the ACT’s again, but if you are rejected from any of these schools it won’t be for testing scores. =]

I’d say definitely take Literature and a science subject test, possibly one of the math tests (I know it’s annoying, but variety is needed in your scores to show skill in multiple areas). The hook combined with your academic achievements are almost certainly enough, and in my opinion all that remains for you to be an excellent shot at Yale is a few phenomenal recommendations and great essays. You’re probably one of the best candidates nationwide.

Chance back, please!

Thanks so much for your input! I still welcome more advice and viewpoints, especially regarding the SAT IIs.
