Your evaluation is greatly appreciated

Wow, 50 views and not one response! Come on, guys, I need all the criticism/enouragement I can get!

hey man first off thanks for ur reply. ni think that being mexican is def. a plus. the ppll that i have seen get rejected to that school are large but then again i live in nj which is actually a negative factor. ur gpa is very bstrong but ur class rank as high as it is, should be closer to top 15 since ur applying to arguably the best school in the country. ur sat is strong and that award on the national french exam is a huge plus, try to center on tyhat as much as posible. lastly i think ur multilingual is a huge plus and try to center on that gl.

I'd say you have definately over a 50% chacne, if you didnt take the SAT more than 2 times.

Man, I think you have a very good chance. You have good stats, applying ED, and being a URM gives you a boost. Hopefully I'll see you there next year.

Thanks for the reviews......keep them coming please!

i think your chances are great, good luck! i'm applying to princeton as well so hopefully we both get in

good chance man! gl and ur SATI is a major plus!

Perhaps now would be a god time to mention that numbers are not everything. Does anyone have opinions about the rest of my application? If so, do not be afraid to write it down.

Numbers are the biggest part though for non-athletes :(
However you personal Essay, recommendations (interviews if princeton has them) will play a good part for determining your character too.

You and I have about the same stats...... I have no idea what being a Latino/a does to a college admission application.

overall, it will increase your chances

i thought they stopped giving an advantage to minorities over whites in 1996...your ethnicity does not matter anymore

its called affirmative action, in 1995 they approved that (mainly in California), where underrepresented minorities (non-whites and asians) had a little boost.

sleepabliss i dont know where u have been

yeah lol, must be living in another world :P

lol valdez-vivas...i wonder what kinda mexican name that could be?
too proud...haha.

mahajan, you are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too proud

I thought you were working on your apps.......

lol answer my friggin thread in the parents forum

affirmative action is gayness. who cares what racial ethnicity you are!!! you should have to go through the same pains as everyone else!

But damn, it says on the bottom that affirmative action is planned to go away in 25 years from 2003:
