<p>ah, here we are....almost 75% of the american hispanic population is mexican-american or puerto rican</p>
<p>this might explain why there are an overly abundant proportion of mexican-americans at yale...in fact, at princeton, if i can find those stats, almost half are non-mexican/puerto rican....so if anything, the statistics would suggest hispanics are viewed more homogenously than stated earlier</p>
