Well I am a Hispanic (Mexican) male who got accepted to Pepperdine. This may sound ignorant, but are there many Hispanics at Pepperdine? I know the majority of the student body is White. Is the student body diverse?

According to their 2008 viewbook:
10.7% asian
7.7% African american
59.7% white
9.7% hispanic
2% Native american
3.8% undeclared
6.4% international

Hope this helps!

Pepperdine is not really considered a diverse university; you need only look at the stats to notice this. However, it is making great strides to admit diverse students. I, too, have been accepted to Pepperdine and I'm Hispanic. I know they have great clubs and assoc. centered around Hispanic students, as well as a Hispanic Outreach/Affairs website. You should check it out on the Pepperdine site.

Although the Hispanic pop may be small, I believe they really "cater" to under-represented students.

^ That was my take, anybody know anything else about the subject? Diversity in general?
