dude heres what you need to do... take each college..write it down on a piece of paper...tape it to the wall...and throw darts to see where you go...because you can go anywhere...lucky you...

I completley disagree with the above posts... First of all, your stats are very good but the only reason that you'll be exepted to the elite private schools that are on your list is because of affirmative action. HOWEVER, Berkley and UCLA don't do ( or atleast say they don't do) affirmative action. UCLA and Berkley are 60-75% everything else is fine. Goood luck

inseniarator...i think you have a great chance at most of those schools...some might be a stretch (i.e. Stanford and maybe JHU and Rice)....but you've got good stats, and colleges love that Hispanics are coming up....they are one of the least representative groups in the university setting.

Question....Have you considered the University of Virginia?...it's the #2 public school in the nation (with Ann Arbor)...#22 university all round....it has a fantastic pre-med program and it's students do have very slight preference in the medical school (which is excellent). It's set in a small city, and the campus is gorgeous (and historic might i add)....furthermore...tuition is very low compared with many other universities ($22,000 and room/board for a typical freshman in one of the old dorms is about $3,000)...the new Access UVa program is dealing out substantial amounts of financial aid...more than a majority of universities.....fantastic school...i think you should look in to it or atleast consider applying....plus...it'll give you the east coast experience..

1400+ equivalent SAT score with a great list of EC's gives you a reasonable chance at any college regardless of race. Couple that with the fact that you're hispanic, well, have fun at HYPS (bc I think you have a great shot at all 4 even though you didn't mention HYP).
