I notice for a lot of 300-level history courses there are take home midterm and final exams. Are those papers? I can't imagine they give multiple choice take home exams?

Welcome to college. Multiple choice, for the most part (except in biology and psychology) doesn’t exist.

Take home exams are very common, not just in history. Yes, basically it’s a paper, but it’s an exam because you have a time limit (anywhere from 3 hours to 1 week, depending on the class/assessment).

Thanks you have been very helpful…but you could tone down the sarcasm a bit .

Yes, of course darling.
