<p>What actvities outside of school do you suggest someone who is interested in history and government get involved in?</p>
<p>NHD, mock trial, debate, some sort of quiz bowl, youth court, can't think of any others</p>
<p>NHD is definitely a good one (and Florida has a great state program), as are the others elphaba mentioned. Also, check out the "We The People" competition.</p>
