History at UC Berkeley Transfer! Help Please!

<p>How selective is UC Berkeley for History?! </p>

<p>I don't want to risk sending in an application for a major that is competitive, where I can get in at UCI or UCSD with TAG. I have a 3.8 GPA, CCC transfer with ec's that include research experience (for community college students collaborated with UCI and CSUF), volunteer at local history and genealogy center for the public library and part of my city's historical preservation committee among other things. </p>

<p>I just want to know how tough is it to get into the major....</p>

<p>But, you don’t want to <em>risk</em> sending in an application to the top public university in the country? You’re risking it even if you have a 4.0.</p>

<p>Don’t stress so much about it and just send in an application. And by the way, you look great. (:</p>
