My younger brother is interested in history (he's only a freshman in HS, so this may change, I don't know). This is a really preliminary question in the college preparation process. USC and UCLA are two great colleges close by to home. I know that US News rankings don't really matter when you are looking at particular majors. Purely from the perspective of a history major, which school has a better department in terms of professors, advising, etc.? I know the whole "feel" and atmosphere thing plays in, but I don't want to hear about that right now.

Trojan for life, bRuin for 4-6 years...

Seriously though, he's just a freshman - it's EARLY....

Thanks that really helps.

Meh... I dont know much about the history programs of either school... but I did see an opportunity to bash ACLU, and I just cant pass those up!
