History Major Problems

<p>I plan on either attending College of Charleston or Wofford next fall and I was wondering which one has the better history department?</p>

<p>I love Charleston and it is so historic that it ought to have a good history program right?
I know, academically, Wofford is the better school, but I've lived in Spartanburg my whole life and it's getting a bit old!</p>

<p>History is going to be a very solid major at any school. Also, both schools will have a SC/Southern slant to their classes (which is also good). I would not make up your choice based on that major, which school would you be happier at?</p>
