Hit me with ONE safety

That's all I need. My stats (I swear this is the last time I do this)

4.0 w/ honors courses at CC
2220 SAT 740/740/750 SAT IIs Will retake SAT probably
Vice Pres. Student Govt, Vice President Honors Program, Press Reporter Business Club, Member of Top College Choir, Singer will send in demos, over 250 hours community service, work 30-35 hours a week for past 3 years.
3.3 high school GPA took ALL honors courses and I sucked it up.

What I'm looking for...
Econ Major (unless the B-school at a particular univ is better)
North is better
Diverse student body
Beautiful campus (I personally like the old gothic style the best)
Good job/intern opportunities
Good grad school opportunities (MBA)

That's all I can think of. I've got a list with two "safeties" per se (based on transfer acceptance rates) which are UT Austin and Wesleyan but I don't think these are safe enough. And no I don't care if you don't think these are safeties...the point of this thread is to find the safest safety. Any suggestions?

UC Merced & UC Riverside...Even OOS.

lol thank you cardinal...how about UCLA?

"lol thank you cardinal...how about UCLA?"

Nah, I woulda put down UCLA as a safety. Any of the CalStates for shore but not ucla/ucb/ucsd.

i wouldn't worry too much..i hear from many that transferring from community college is really easy, especially in california. they actually prefer transfer students because it costs them less and it acts as a proof that you'll do fine. for example, a transfer student like you (not sure of out of state) can get into every single UC-campus including LA and Berkeley.

ucla is definitely not a safety for out of state students.

as for safeties for ya brand.. i honestly think ut and nyu would be safeties for you, but if you wanna get safer than that.. apply to umd-college park. you will DEFINITELY get in.

mvstudent - ya i wish i was in california...the public universities are much better, but like forgiven said, UCLA isn't a safety since it's out of state (and even if it was in state it'd probly be a match)

Just testing yall.

forgiven: even McCombs and Stern?...well ya probably McCombs, but Stern? Therein lies the problem, since at NYU and UT I would prefer the b-school b/c they are better than the economics at those schools.

the campus is very nice and the student body is very diverse. i would definitely apply to the business school though, rather than majoring in econ there.

as for stern, i know a handful of students that got admitted as transfers that had stats nowhere near yours. transfer admissions to stern is A LOT easier than freshmen admissions.

well you have made me a happy person... :)

Which one were you talking a/b having a very nice campus and diverse student body...Maryland?

yup.. and i don't think they require recs or anything. fill out the app in like 10 mins and submit a short essay why you want to transfer.. hehe.

lol sweet there's my ultimate safety with no effort...thanks
