Hit Parade

Is there a book with only the world list? (without the practice tests, etc.)
Is there a way to legally obtain the list online (similar to rocket review)?

I have finished Direct Hits 1+2, Hot Words for the SAT, and spark notes
Going to work on rocket review
What next if i am still missing vocab questions?

Side Question: Is Grammatix solely for grammar? is there a link for the guide?

Word Smart Vol 1,2 should give you a comprehensive background for vocabs

wats how words for the sat. is it good? why did u choose it

I really like Hot Words. It doesn’t group words randomly or by alphabetical order. Instead, it groups them like synonyms so it’s much much easier to learn (eg: Lesson 1. Cat Got Your Tongue? Words Relating to Using Few Words or Being Quiet. It then goes on to list 10-15 words + definition + 3 example sentences.) There are also exercises, but I didn’t do them…

After I did Hot Words, I knew most of the words in Direct Hits.

I think if you have all of those books, you really don’t need another.
You can’t expect to know every word on every SAT, thats just impossible unless you learn thousands upon thousands of words. (dont… lol). After you’ve studied all of those books, it really just comes down to luck. If you still feel really unsure about vocab, learn roots, suffixes and prefixes so that you can figure out the words you don’t know.
