Hitch Suites

Can someone tell me what are the benefits of hitch suites and does anyone have the pictures of the interior? i haven't been able to find any pictures of it. thanks!

Well, it's tougher to meet new people in Hitch, just because it's apartment style living. But, you get your own living room.

Gawd, I'm bored. Or altruistic? Hm. Here's my suite:
http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa193/jinobix/Hitch%20Suites/

Pros: VERY spacious, quiet, nice green atmosphere and environment. perfect if you don't need to be around people 24/7... if you liek going out then coming back to a quiet place. APartment style.

cons: if you're new and have trouble meeting people, it could be tough. way up the hill.

if you are living there next year feel free to contact me for more information.

Jinobi and Namaste thanks very very much for the help!

also, i have another question, 4 of my friends requested to be my roommate, when we all first checked we had de neve plaza, then they switched us all to hitch suites. Is there a high chance we will be roommates?

are you a first year or returner? if you're a returner, your friends and you are almost certainly in a suite together.

i'm a first year but i did put on my application that my priority was roommates

I'd say there's a high change of all you guys being together. I know some friends who live in Saxon Suites right now, and they all got switched from Rieber Hall. So, it seems that people who got switched from one place are roomed together in a suite.

thanks jinobi!

Does anyone know how far away Hitch is from most freshman classes (by walking)? (pre biz-econ major)

about 20-25 min.

Is it more convenient to just take the bus, and is there a "restaurant" at Hitch?

No, just walk.

There isn't a restaurant at Hitch. Hedrick is across the street from Hitch. They have a restaurant.

There is no bus to campus from Hitch. You HAVE to walk!! Hahahaha

I can get to Bunche in 10-12 minutes.. it's the hitch power walk. you develop it overtime.

yeah 20-25 mins is is walking leisurely. but i prefer not to be all sweaty when i get to class.

hmm is the "hitch power walk" a euphemism for running? lol

Nope. That's just namaste. :)

yeah when people say there is a lot of walking at ucla, they are not kidding, i skip class some days because of it. lol.

yep, if i wake up at the time my class was supposed to start (or later), i dont go. because by the time i get there it would be more than half over. that's only happened a couple times though...

heh. happens to me a lot.
...and i live in de neve xD
