Hmm...Auto School Switch during Early Decision?

I read some things on BU and had a questions regarding Early Decision.

I might apply Early Decision to BU, and if I do, it will be to the Comm School.

Now, can the admissions office move me to the School of General Studies (if I don’t get into Comm) and I would HAVE to go to BU and the School of General Studies (since it’s Early Decision)?

Any help on this is appreciated...

If you are confused by what my post is saying, here is a brief synopsis of what I mean.

I apply to Comm School Early Decision...BU accepts me during Early Decision, but moves me to the school of General Studies. Since I applied early decision to BU and got into the University (although not the Comm School that I applied to), would I have to go to BU in this case?

Actually, is this policy even possible during Early Decision (I know it can be during regular admission)?

Does anyone know? Thanks.

40 + reviews and no replys (my 2 "bumps" don't count)? C'mon!

Maybe we don't know the answer to that. Try emailing an adcom at BU. Maybe that will help.

It says on the PDF of the BU application, that if you apply ED, you will only be placed in CGS if it is the specific school that you apply to. so, no worries basically.
